Dr. Jason Regruit is a board-certified Sports Physical Therapy Specialist dedicated to helping athletes and active adults solve problems, regardless of how simple or complex they may be, so they can continue doing what they love. Dr. Regruit boasts an extensive background of education and post-graduate training.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Fitness and Wellness Leadership - SUNY Plattsburgh

  • Master’s degree in Anatomy and Clinical Health Science – University of Delaware

  • Doctor of Physical Therapy – University of Delaware

  • Master’s degree in Athletic Training - University of Central Florida

  • Sports Physical Therapy Residency – University of Pittsburgh Medical Center

Now based in Winter Park and serving the greater Orlando area, he brings an advanced, performance-driven approach to sports physical therapy and rehabilitation.

Clinically, Dr. Regruit has worked with youth, high school, collegiate, and professional athletes, as well as active adults seeking to stay healthy and perform at a high level. Having worked with professional and collegiate organizations such as the Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers, Orlando City Soccer Club, and UCF Men’s Basketball, he understands what it takes to help people live and perform to the fullest of their abilities.

Beyond the clinic, Dr. Regruit has collaborated with leading sports medicine physicians, presented at national conferences, contributed to research, provided medical coverage for youth, collegiate, and professional sporting events, and mentored students pursuing careers in sports medicine.

As a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association, Dr. Regruit integrates evidence-based rehabilitation with strength and conditioning principles to optimize outcomes. Whether working with professional athletes or active community members, his approach emphasizes trust, movement quality, injury prevention, and long-term success.

Outside of work, Dr. Regruit enjoys an active lifestyle with his fiancé and their dog, Malibu. He continues to play soccer several times per week, spends time in the gym, golfs whenever possible. When it’s time to unwind, he can usually be found watching whatever sport is in season.
